My First Born

Ronnie was my first born child. The day I gave birth to him was, at the time, the happiest day of my life. I always loved children and waited for the day to have my own. Ronnie's Grandma Greco was a nurse at St. Francis Hospital so she was able to assist in the delivery room. And what fun it was! I enjoyed every minute of it. Ronnie was the perfect little baby. He rarely cried and was always smiling and happy. He would go to sleep with a smile and wake up with a smile. He was the most gorgeous baby I had ever seen. He had a full head of dark hair and was so perfect. I never had a hard day with him. He was so good! I could see the difference in his disposition compared to friends and family who had babies. In fact, I think they did too. He was always happy and loved to be loved and cared for. Every day was a joy. He was so chubby that we called him "the michelin man" for the longest time! He had rolls and rolls and rolls! He was my world! Then I had my second beautiful baby, a girl this time! What a joy to have a boy and a girl! Ronnie was 2 when Nikki was born. He was thrilled to have a little sister! His grandparents brought him to the hospital to see us. He had on the cutest little white suit! The hospital had a set of steps that they put up to the window of the nursery so that he could see his baby sister. He was so excited! He brought me flowers too. That was the first time I was apart from him, while I was in the hospital, so I could not wait to get back home to be with my two beautiful children! They were both great babies, happy and healthy. I couldn't have asked for more.
